Disciplinary Clusters

Research and policy work at the Academy cover a broad range of topics that have been categorized as eight disciplinary clusters, 134 focused fields

The International Science & Technology Innovation Program of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAASTIP) was officially launched in November 2019, and a total of USD 10,000,000 is planned to be invested in Phase I of the CAASTIP during a period of 3-5 years.

CAAS has nearly 10 000 employees, including over 6 000 technicians. Of whom, 49% of the employees have obtained master’s degree or above.

Founded in 1979 and approved by the State Council in 1981,the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is one of the earliest degree conferral institutions for master’s degree and doctor’s degree in China.
